I'm a graduate Mechanical Engineer and I applied to several job vacancies and undergo several interviews. I have applied several steps and tips given in this course and I noticed that for each action I did back then, the reaction of the interviewer matches what has been said in this course. I will definitely use the tips and the strategies available in this course and I am sure that the next interview will be way better than the previous ones. There is so many variables in an interview process that are out of your control. This is a great basis through preparation for how you can take real stock in your career and see yourself in the position on paper. -1 star for an oddly-worded exercise: "Quick Review" question 2 in the "Asking Forced-Choice Questions" lesson. Also would love to understand where the phone screen lies in the process--it lacked clarity.

Loved hearing the quick review of what to do preparing for an interview. It's a great run down and if you have the book, this reminds you of so many details that you might take for granted and impact the interview negatively. I'm definitely bookmarking this to review before every interview.

My favorite is the "one question" to ask all candidates, and for candidates to prepare for. What is their one most significant accomplishment? Then drill down from there. It made me think of how I would answer that question and the subsequent questions as well so I can be prepared. Also, practice practice practice is excellent advice. You cannot be over-prepared for an interview! Thanks Lou!
